Common questions about Mercedes EIS cloning.
Can you do all-keys-lost on a Mercedes?
Yes — all-keys-lost jobs are accepted for FBS3 Mercedes (W203, W204, W211, W212, W221, Sprinter, Vito). Send the EIS and we will generate new keys from the SK data. You can also combine this with our Keys by Mail service if you need new physical keys programming as well.
Do I need to send my existing keys with the EIS?
For a straight clone (moving EIS data to a replacement unit), you only need to send the EIS — not the keys. For all-keys-lost, the same applies: EIS only. If you want additional keys programmed at the same time, include those alongside the EIS.
What about FBS4 systems (W205, W213, C-Class 2014 onwards)?
FBS4 is a significantly more complex system and EIS cloning is not offered as a standard mail-in service for FBS4 vehicles. Call us before ordering — some FBS4 work can be handled with additional modules but requires a conversation first.
Does this work on the W205 C-Class?
The W205 uses the FBS4 immobiliser system, which is not covered by our standard EIS cloning service. We cover W203, W204, W211, W212, W221, W222, Sprinter and Vito (all FBS3). If you have a W205 enquiry, please call us to discuss options.

Order
Select the EIS cloning service, complete the form with the vehicle VIN, chassis type, and whether it is a spare or all-keys-lost job. Pay via PayPal or request a trade invoice.
Pack & post the EIS
Remove the EIS from the steering column and post it in an anti-static bag inside a sturdy padded envelope. Royal Mail Special Delivery or DPD tracked. Include your order reference and a photograph of the V5 for AKL jobs.
Receive the cloned EIS
We return the cloned EIS the same day it arrives. Refit and the vehicle should start on the existing keys without any further programming steps on the car.
